Card Structure & Capacity
XO OPS is built on a five-column card structure that scales to the depth a coach demands. Coaches can choose between three sizing options: Compact (5 calls per column), Medium (10 calls per column), or Large (19 calls per column). That means 25, 50, or 95 structured calls per card. Each system supports up to three card layers, allowing for a maximum of 75, 150, or 285 organized calls within a single operational structure. Whether you prefer streamlined menus or fully layered situational depth, XO OPS expands with your system.
Layered Depth & Situational Expansion
Every XO OPS build supports up to three layers of card depth. Layer one can serve as your core menu, layer two can expand into situational adjustments, and layer three can house specialty packages or defensive-specific responses. This structure allows coaches to organize calls by personnel, formation, down and distance, field position, schedule status, or opponent structure — all within a clean, scalable framework. The system can remain simple for quick deployment or expand into a fully developed situational decision architecture.
Sequencing & Operational Protection
XO OPS also provides flexible numbering and sequencing structures to match coaching philosophy and protect tendencies. Standard call sequencing such as 1–5, 1–10, or 1–19 can be used for clean progression, while alternative numbering structures like 11–20 or offset sequencing systems can be implemented to reduce predictability. All sequencing remains organized within the same five-column structure, giving coaches clarity in communication while maintaining strategic protection under tempo and game pressure.
Operational Category Framework
XO OPS begins with structured categorization. Coaches can build up to six or seven primary situational pillars, each supported by layered subcategories that define the depth of preparation. Designed for football but adaptable to any sport, this framework allows systems to be organized by condition, alignment, opponent structure, or game state.
