Shot Discipline Infrastructure

I. Player Shot Profile Establishment

Each player must undergo structured evaluation across defined shot categories.

Categories are staff-selected and may include:

Rim finishes, paint touches, midrange attempts, corner 3s, wing 3s, above-the-break 3s, late-clock attempts.

Evaluation progresses through controlled phases:

Zero Stress → Controlled Stress → Live Stress

Efficiency stability under pressure determines classification.

II. Shot Quality Classification

Using evaluation data, staff assigns shot designation per player:

Green — Primary scoring zone
Yellow — Situational usage
Red — Restricted usage
Black — Eliminate

Standards are player-specific.
2PT and 3PT criteria may differ.

Hoop Tech does not define quality.
Staff defines quality.

III. Shot Discipline Assignment

Each player receives a defined shot operating zone.

Primary green shots.
Conditional attempts.
Restricted actions.

Clarity precedes accountability.

IV. Practice Integration Model

Each player must undergo structured evaluation across defined shot categories.

Categories are staff-selected and may include:

Rim finishes, paint touches, midrange attempts, corner 3s, wing 3s, above-the-break 3s, late-clock attempts.

Evaluation progresses through controlled phases:

Zero Stress → Controlled Stress → Live Stress

Efficiency stability under pressure determines classification.

V. Game Logging & Measurement

During competition, Hoop Tech records:

Offensive action, defensive context, shot type, quality grade, fouled outcome.

The system then measures:

High Shot Rate
Bad Shot Rate
2PT vs 3PT balance
Set-based efficiency
Player compliance trends

Volume reveals discipline.

VI. Review & Adjustment Protocol

Data is reviewed on a defined cycle.

Adjust:

Shot permissions
Play emphasis
Role clarity

Structure evolves. Standards remain.

Hoop Tech is a tracking engine.

The curriculum is the infrastructure.

Without defined standards, tracking has no authority.
